Hyunkyung Yulia Yun

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice at Brown University School of Public Health, specializing in Health Economics. My research is focused on evaluating policies and delivery systems for older adults, including nursing home residents with dementia.

My current research includes: (1) examining the impacts of the Medicare Advantage on the nursing home population using advanced causal inference methods; (2) assessing structural disparities in the documentation of clinical symptoms using EMR and MDS data; (3) investigating the effects of long-term care policies through both quantitative and qualitative methods.
